Nexus Audio Technologies was established for the dual purposes of building awareness of the high performance audio category, and to open doors for select, carefully chosen specialty brands—offering best-in-class performance.
Founded by audio industry veteran Walter Schofield, Nexus capitalizes on Mr. Schofield’s deep experience working on behalf of audio designers and manufacturers who represent the best of what the market has to offer. Schofield, who serves as Nexus Audio’s President, created the company to bring audiophile-grade, exquisitely designed speakers and electronics to a broad market including audiophiles and high-net-worth individuals. These coveted, consumer market segments stand ready to invest whatever it takes to satisfy their passion for music and home theatre systems.

Nexus Audio’s services also encompass public relations. Working closely with its strategic partner, Sohmer Associates LLC, Nexus provides boutique public relations and marketing communications services to its Client Partner Brands. NYC-based Sohmer Associates is dedicated solely to serving the consumer and professional segments of the electronics industry. Agency Founder and President Adam Sohmer possesses significant depth of expertise, earned over 30 years spent working with companies of every size including Alta Audio, Sony, Panasonic, Marantz, NHT, Rockford Fosgate, Polk Audio, and HIFIMAN Electronics, among many others.
The Nexus Audio Technologies, LLC and Sohmer Associates LLC partnership oversees the full suite of services for all Nexus Client Brands in the US and Canada—including all aspects of sales, sales & marketing programs, media relations, materials development, social media and more.
